We have a well established charities team headed by Michael Buckland who holds a diploma in Charity Accounting. Our team is highly experienced and we act for over one hundred clients, with varying sizes and activities. We are well versed in the accounting and tax complexities of charities, eg Charities Acts, SORPs, Companies Acts, Gift Aid and VAT.
We act for charities with activities which include social provision, education, arts and heritage, religion, housing and recreation.

- Audits - statutory audits for larger charities, or where required by constitution.
- Independent Examinations - often accompanied by accounts preparation and assistance.
- Tax Advice - VAT can be particularly complicated for charities with partial exemption issues often to the fore.

- Mergers - we have recent exerpeicne of charity mergers and undertaking due diligence procedures.
- Payroll - Our payroll department can assist with payroll preparation and other HR issues.
